The 2009 AGM of the NAPS (formerly NCOBA) was held today at 9:30 am at the college. This meeting started off with a word of prayer from outgoing executive member Dunstan Williams. The outgoing president DJ Jaggernauth commended the members who were present for being present and being on time; a problem that has plagued past AGMs. Matters arising out of the President’s, Treasurer’s and Secretary’s Report were discussed with an overall consensus that more attention needs to be placed on the extended membership and how they can assist both the school and the association to accomplish their goals in the upcoming year. The principal, Dr. Dowlath praised the association for their support over the last year and he outlined the various projects that he is looking forward to working with the association in the upcoming year.
Mr. Dunstan Williams was elected the NAPS President for the upcoming year. The members present gave him a warm and hearty welcome.
